Snifters are ideal for liquors such as whiskey, bourbon, brandy, scotch, cognac, or other aromatic liquors.  The shape of the glass allows for the aromas to remain in the glass and to allow the hand to warm the liquid.

The Atomic Age or Era refers to the period spanning from the 1940's-1963 when the Cold War was raging and concerns of space travel were on the minds of many. Pop culture as well as architecture, designs, art and even the décor of homes were greatly influenced by the atomic age with space age motifs.
